Youth Development Association Conducts Training on Leadership and Working with Youth and Volunteers
The Youth Development Association, in cooperation with the PNGO Network, conducted today a specialized training entitled “Leadership and Working with Youth and Volunteers”, with the participation of staff members from youth organizations, youth program coordinators, and individuals working directly with young people and volunteers.
The training aimed to develop participants’ knowledge and skills in leadership, youth engagement, and volunteer team management, while also strengthening effective communication and participation approaches that can contribute to improving the quality of youth-focused programs and activities and enhancing young people’s role in community work.
The training covered a range of topics related to leadership concepts, effective approaches to working with youth and volunteers, encouraging participation and initiative, and building effective teams. It also addressed some of the challenges facing youth organizations and explored ways to create a more supportive environment for youth participation and volunteerism.
The training also provided a space for participants from different youth organizations to exchange experiences and discuss practices that can help strengthen the role of young people as active actors and partners within their communities.
This training comes as part of the Youth Development Association’s efforts, in cooperation with the PNGO Network, to build the capacities of professionals working in the youth sector, promote a culture of leadership, participation, and volunteerism, and further develop approaches to working with young people in ways that respond to their needs and strengthen their contribution to community development.
