The Youth Development Association conducted a training workshop entitled “Digital Safety in the Use of E-Wallets” at the Multi-Purpose Community Services Center affiliated with the Agricultural Development Association – PARC in Khan Younis, in cooperation with the Palestinian PNGO Network.
The workshop aimed to raise participants’ awareness of the safe use of e-wallets and digital payment services, introduce practical ways to conduct financial transactions securely and conveniently, and strengthen knowledge on protecting personal data and financial information from fraud and cyber threats.
The workshop covered a number of key digital safety practices, including protecting passwords and login credentials, avoiding the sharing of verification codes and financial information with others, exercising caution when dealing with suspicious links and messages, and ensuring that applications and digital services used for financial transactions come from trusted sources.
The workshop also highlighted the importance of increasing awareness of electronic fraud risks and strengthening users’ ability to identify deceptive practices and take appropriate measures to protect their accounts and financial data.
This workshop is part of the Youth Development Association’s ongoing efforts to promote digital awareness and enhance community members’ skills in using modern technology and digital financial services safely, in line with the ongoing digital transformation and in support of easier, more responsible, and secure everyday financial transactions.
