The Youth Development Association, a youth-led civil society organization founded in 2003 that works to develop the capacities of young people, promote their community participation, and empower them economically, announces a call for bids to supply potable water in the Gaza Strip, as part of its humanitarian response aimed at supporting affected and most-needy families and providing basic necessities to affected communities.
The purpose of this call for bids is to contract with a qualified company or supplier with proven experience in the supply and distribution of potable water to provide water that is safe and suitable for human consumption, in accordance with approved health specifications and standards, in the required quantities, and in accordance with packaging, transportation, and storage requirements, in a manner that ensures the quality and safety of the water until it reaches the beneficiaries, and that adheres to the delivery dates and locations specified in the tender documents.
The Association invites qualified and experienced companies and suppliers in the field of drinking water supply and distribution to submit their technical and financial proposals in accordance with the terms and specifications set forth in the bid documents, within the announced timeframe, while complying with all relevant legal, technical, and health requirements.
The Youth Development Association reaffirms its commitment to the principles of transparency, integrity, and equal opportunity in all contracting procedures, thereby ensuring the selection of the most competent supplier capable of providing safe water of appropriate quality, and thereby contributing to meeting the basic needs of beneficiaries and preserving their health and dignity.
