The Youth Development Association, along with its volunteers in Gaza, has distributed hot and fresh meals targeting shelters and residential gatherings in the northern governorate, including the neighborhoods of Jabalia town, Al-Jalaa Street, and the Abu Iskandar area in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. Approximately 1,350 fresh meals were distributed, targeting families displaced from their homes in northern regions due to the intense Israeli bombing of residential communities and citizens' homes.

This activity is part of a campaign launched by the association to assist IDPs in Gaza, aiming to meet a small portion of their essential needs to help them endure and survive. The daily suffering increases due to the complete lack of necessities of life, along with a total blockade on the delivery of food, water, baby formula, and other essential supplies to northern areas, which raises concerns about an impending humanitarian catastrophe in the region.

Gaza is currently facing a major humanitarian crisis due to the ongoing and continuous aggression, especially in the northern areas, which has led to a large displacement of citizens from the north to the southern regions without the provision of necessities such as food, water, shelter, blankets, clothing, clean water, and sanitary materials. This has dramatically exacerbated the suffering, in addition to the devastation caused by the Israeli-American war machine, which has destroyed homes, shelters, hospitals, and areas considered safe havens for IDPs.

It is worth mentioning that since the early days of the aggression, the Youth Development Association launched an international campaign to assist the residents of the Gaza Strip in the north, center, and south. The association has provided services related to food supplies, fresh vegetables, and water, benefiting around 2 million services over the past year. Specifically, 1,969,425 citizens benefited from services related to food security (food parcels, children's food parcels, hot meals, and fresh vegetable packages).
