Gaza – Today: For the second consecutive day, the Youth Development Association (YDA) continued implementing its humanitarian campaign to distribute safe drinking water across the Gaza Strip. The campaign aims to distribute a total of 120,000 liters of safe and potable water to displaced families and affected communities in several areas of the Strip.

On the second day of distribution, water was delivered to the shelter center at Al-Azhar University and the displacement tents in the Gaza seaport area of Gaza City, reaching families currently living in shelters and temporary tents amid severe shortages of safe water and growing challenges in accessing basic necessities.

These activities are part of the Youth Development Association’s response to the increasing humanitarian needs in the Gaza Strip and reflect its commitment to helping provide safe drinking water to the most vulnerable groups, particularly displaced families and communities affected by the ongoing difficult humanitarian conditions.

The Association confirmed that the water distribution campaign will continue according to the planned schedule, with the aim of reaching the largest possible number of displaced and affected families in the targeted areas, helping to alleviate their hardship and improve access to one of the most essential needs for daily life.

The Youth Development Association also reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its humanitarian interventions in coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure that assistance reaches the areas and communities most in need across the Gaza Strip.
