Gaza – Today: The Youth Development Association (YDA) has launched a humanitarian campaign to distribute 120,000 liters of safe drinking water to families and displaced people in the southern Gaza Strip, as part of its ongoing efforts to respond to the growing humanitarian needs of the population  amid the extremely difficult conditions affecting the Strip

The campaign targets the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, where the water distribution will reach displaced families currently living in shelters and displacement tents. The initiative aims to help provide safe and potable drinking water and alleviate the hardship faced by affected families and displaced communities

The campaign comes amid the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, particularly the critical need for access to essential water supplies. Through its humanitarian interventions, the Youth Development Association seeks to support the most vulnerable families and improve their access to essential services and basic necessities

The Association reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its humanitarian and field-based efforts to reach the most affected communities. It also emphasized its ongoing coordination with partners and relevant stakeholders to implement interventions that respond to the urgent priorities and immediate needs of the population in the Gaza Strip
