As part of its ongoing efforts to develop its institutional capacities and strengthen its presence in international cooperation and partnership spaces, the Youth Development Association (YDA) participated in the international *Training Course on Leadership and Project Management, hosted in the French city of Lille as part of the activities of the SUMUD YOU project, with the hosting of SCI France

The association was represented in the training by Aya Al-Khatib, Public Relations and Fundraising Officer at the Youth Development Association, and Amal Sobh, vice President of the Association’s Board of Directors. Both participated in the training program alongside representatives of institutions and young people from different countries and backgrounds.

The participation took place under WP2, which focuses on institutional capacity building, leadership, and project management. The training focused on developing leadership skills, team management, decision-making, strategic thinking, conflict management, as well as project planning and management, through interactive and participatory methodologies based on learning by doing and the exchange of experiences.

The participation also provided an important opportunity to present the Palestinian experience and the realities of youth and community work in Palestine, exchange experiences with international institutions and partners, and build new professional relationships and partnerships that could open up future opportunities for cooperation, exchange, and capacity building.

Through this participation, the Youth Development Association (YDA) reaffirms its commitment to developing its institutional capacities, strengthening its presence in international forums, and benefiting from international expertise and practices in ways that contribute to improving the quality of its programs and projects, enhancing its role in youth empowerment, and building sustainable international partnerships.
