#Youth Development Association Meets the Needs of the Baptist and Red Crescent Hospitals by Supplying Fresh Meals
Gaza Strip Today: The Youth Development Association in the Gaza Strip supplied fresh meals to the Al-Ahli Al-Arabi (Baptist) Hospital and the Red Crescent Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip. A total of 330 hot and fresh meals were provided to patients, their companions, and medical, technical, and other staff. This response came after an appeal from the administration of the Al-Ahli Al-Arabi (Baptist) Hospital and the Red Crescent field hospital in the Al-Saraya area, seeking support for patients and medical and technical staff due to the scarcity of basic food and water necessities. This shortage is a consequence of the general lack of basic supplies in the Gaza Strip, resulting from insufficient food imports to meet the population's needs. This activity is part of the campaign launched by the association to assist our displaced people in the Gaza Strip, aiming to meet a small portion of the needs of citizens and their families to persevere and survive. The suffering intensifies daily due to the complete absence of necessities, in addition to the total lack of supplies and materials reaching the northern governorates, including food and other essential items. This is a direct result of the occupation forces preventing the entry of food, water, baby formula, and other vital supplies, which threatens to unleash a humanitarian catastrophe upon the residents of the Gaza Strip.
For his part, Musa Ayad, the administrative director of the Al-Ahli Arab (Baptist) Hospital, thanked the Youth Development Association, its staff, and volunteers for responding to the urgent appeal to provide meals for patients, medical and technical staff, and their companions within the hospital. This comes at a time when the Gaza Strip is witnessing a war of genocide, with the continued closure of crossings and the prevention of the entry of basic supplies since last Ramadan.
