Ramallah- The Youth Development Association held an expanded meeting with members of the General Assembly, the Board of Directors, the executive management, and volunteers from both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The meeting aimed to discuss the main themes and guiding principles for developing the Association’s strategic plan for the years 2026–2030.

This strategic plan comes as a continuation of the Association’s ongoing efforts to advance youth work in Palestine and stems from its belief in the importance of future planning as a tool to enhance its role in building an aware, active, and influential young generation within its community.

Through this plan, the Youth Development Association seeks to keep pace with the rapid transformations in the local and global environment, particularly in the areas of digitalization, economic and social empowerment, active citizenship, and the promotion of volunteerism, while strengthening its national and international role in alignment with the needs of Palestinian youth in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

The Association works to activate the youth sector by developing the capacities of Palestinian youth, enhancing their community participation, and empowering them economically. It also aims to open new horizons for cultural and knowledge exchange among youth locally and internationally, enabling them to play an effective role in achieving development and driving the desired process of social change.

The new strategic plan further aims to establish a comprehensive and practical framework for the next four years that reflects the Association’s future directions, enhances its institutional efficiency and developmental programs, and ensures the sustainability of its social impact through innovative initiatives and effective partnerships.
