Youth Development Association continues its support to displaced residents of the Gaza Strip through the distribution of desalinated water in the southern governorates.
The Youth Development Association, along with its volunteers and staff in the Gaza Strip, extended support to the displaced people in the southern part of the Strip, who were forcibly displaced from the northern governorates. The association distributed desalinated water for drinking and household use, targeting shelters and population gatherings in areas such as Al-Israa Camp in the eastern area of Asdaa City in Khan Younis, accommodating displaced people from northern Gaza. More than 600 families, around 3,000 individuals, benefited. In addition, Al-Israa Camp in the eastern area of Asdaa City in Khan Younis also benefited, with more than 600 families, around 3,000 individuals, among those who were forcibly displaced.
The Strip is witnessing a catastrophic situation and a major humanitarian crisis due to the ongoing events and the occupation’s prevention of humanitarian and medical aid convoys from entering the Gaza Strip. Suffering increases daily with the complete lack of basic necessities of life, in addition to the total absence of essential resources such as food, drinking water, medicines, and baby formula.
This activity comes as part of the international campaign launched by the Youth Development Association since the start of the war to assist our displaced people in the Gaza Strip, in order to cover a small part of the citizens’ and their families’ needs to help them endure and survive.
