Youth Development AssociationContinues Its Support to Displaced Residents of the Gaza Strip Through the Distribution of Desalinated Water in the Central Governorates
The Youth Development Association, with its volunteers and staff in the Gaza Strip, continued its support for the displaced in the southern part of the Strip who were forcibly displaced from the northern governorates. The Association distributed desalinated water for drinking and household use, targeting shelters and gatherings in the Mash‘ala Camps , Sanid Camp, and Nattouf Camp in Deir al-Balah, in the middle of the Strip, which currently host more than 500 families who were recently forced to leave following evacuation orders from the northern governorates.
The Strip is witnessing a catastrophic and severe humanitarian crisis as a result of the ongoing events and the occupation’s prevention of humanitarian and medical aid convoys from entering Gaza. Suffering increases daily with the complete absence of basic necessities of life, alongside the total shortage of essential supplies including food, water, medicine, and infant formula. This initiative comes within the framework of the international campaign launched by the Youth Development Association since the beginning of the war, aiming to help our displaced people in the Gaza Strip by covering even a small part of the needs of citizens and their families in order to endure and survive.
