Youth Development Association concluded a specialized training course on “Planting Trees and Making Plans” in Jenin.
The #Youth_Development Association, in cooperation with the Agricultural Development Association “Agricultural Relief,” has concluded a specialized training course in Jenin Governorate on good practices in agriculture and crop care.
This training comes as part of a series of courses held across the northern and central governorates to raise awareness among farmers and agricultural workers. It targeted participants from several localities in Jenin, including Zababdeh, Qabatiya, Al-Hashimiya, Faqoua, Al-Jalama, Beit Qad, Jalboun, Al-Sila Al-Harithiya, Arraba, Aqaba, and Tubas.
The course was implemented under the project “Planting Trees and Making Plans” carried out by the Youth Development Association with funded by “The Jerusalem Fund for Education & Community Development”. The project aims to strengthen farmers skills in tree planting, irrigation, plant protection, disease management, modern harvesting and storage methods, and the use of good agricultural practices to maintain product quality. It also promotes the application of advanced techniques, the use of organic fertilizers, and adherence to guidelines that preserve cleanliness and biodiversity in farming.
The Association announced that it will extend these specialized trainings on “Planting Trees and Making Plans” to additional villages and communities in the northern and central governorates, with the goal of enhancing farmers’ resilience, raising their awareness, and expanding both their practical and theoretical expertise in the field.
