Youth Development Association Concludes Specialized Agriculture Training of “Planting Trees and Making Plans” in Jenin
The Youth Development Association, in partnership with Marj Ibn Amer Municipality, and funded by The Jerusalem Fund for Education & Community Development, has completed a specialized training course on best agricultural practices in Jenin (Faqo’a, Jalbun, Aljalamah, A’aba, Deir Abu Daeif, A’rana, Beit Qad). The training targeted farmers and agricultural workers from several villages, focusing on tree planting, irrigation, disease prevention, organic fertilization, and modern harvesting and storage methods.
The project aims to improve the skills and knowledge of local farmers, promote sustainable agriculture, and enhance the market value of crops through advanced techniques. The Association plans to expand these trainings to additional communities in the northern and central West Bank to strengthen farmers’ resilience and practical expertise.
