Youth Development Association Responds to Urgent Call from Al-Ahli Arab Hospital (Al-Mamadani) with Food Support
Gaza – The Youth Development Association in Gaza City responded to the urgent appeal made by the administration of Al-Ahli Arab Hospital (Al-Mamadani), by providing 350 hot and fresh meals, with 50 KG of fresh bread. The aid targeted patients, their companions, and the medical, technical, and administrative staff working at the hospital.
This humanitarian response comes amidst a severe shortage of essential supplies such as food and water, due to the continued closure of border crossings and the collapse of the ceasefire agreement. These conditions have severely impacted health institutions and escalated the humanitarian crisis across the Gaza Strip.
Samer Al-Najjar, a staff member at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital, expressed deep gratitude to the Youth Development Association and its volunteers for promptly responding to the hospital’s urgent call to provide meals. He emphasized that this support came at a critical time, as the Gaza Strip endures an ongoing genocidal war, marked by the complete closure of crossings and the prevention of basic supplies from entering the area since last Ramadan. He noted that these conditions have intensified the humanitarian and health crisis and deepened the suffering of the population, who are struggling to access even the most basic necessities for survival.
